I had previously modded this light but had an idea today…
Could i make a lighted tailcap for this using the original electronic switch ?
Yes! 
Modded with a TP4056 charger board LED, a resistor, some thin wire, uv setting glue and a lot of perseverence.
Tailcap light goes off when light is on
Three modes work with 10440
Lockoutable
Max – 220lm
cd – 900
Throw – 60m

It must be due to the added LED & resistor. I haven’t started working on drivers yet.
I did not expect it to work but now by fast pressing the switch the light cycles through the modes without turning off. Same mode order.
If i turn the light on, wait 3 seconds and press the button again it will turn off.
Here’s a picture of what i did.
1+ ground ring to resistor to LED+ . LED- to 2-capacitor.
The ground ring is positively fed through the light body from a bleed resistor on the driver i believe.
The 2- connects to the battery-.
I have not tested the light with a 1.5v cell.
