Lumir K oil LED lantern

Anyone know where I can buy a Lumir K oil LED lantern? Supposedly it uses cooking oil to generate heat to power the LEDS. Here is a video.

This probably uses some kind of Peltier Element to generate electricity from heat. It's very inefficient + expensive + still uses carbon fuels/generates CO2.
I'm not impressed.

Just another Indiegogo scam.

Thanks. Saw a few review from Kickstart, pretty bad reviews.

it can run on vegetable oil, which is CO2 neutral. no fossil fuel needed. still, laughable peltier efficiency and no rechargeable battery storage (all peltier output goes directly to LEDs) probably lowers efficiency <1%.

I kind of like the concept in principle, but since a ~10 W solar panel with USB output can charge an 18650 battery in a couple hours of sunlight with no fuel required, I would go with that option for most purposes.

Also, it looks like they ran a crowdfunding campaign and then didn’t continue afterwards.

The potential application for thermoelectric generators that would interest me the most is a woodstove blower, and I’m not talking about the toys you can find on Amazon and other sites that get set on top of a stove, use a single peltier tile, and move less air than a computer fan. I’d like to keep the blower running on my fireplace insert when the power is out.
