Just to give everyone an update. I got the lightmeter and did a quick ceiling bounce and beam/lux comparison with this meter . They perform nearly identically from low readings to high readings. It actually matched the lux readings of the other meter above 100k even though it is rated for up to 50k.
It’s still <$10 shipped, so I consider that a great deal. If you can get it for $7 shipped, jump!
