The light comes apart easy enough. The problem is all of the electronics are in the tail cap behind the button which functions as a one way valve. I have been using it for several months without problem but I expect it to fail. Lights heat up when they cool down they suck in air which in this case is the tail cap. Humid air with salt in it will eventually short out the electronics. I was going to buy the expensive and high capacity X2 power aaa. I think when it fails I am going to get a plastic 2AA light which I can hold in my teeth. If any one knows a goot silicone coating I can spray the electronics with let me know.
