Good to know and that you got it with W2 and are pleased. I wish it was still offered in other colors, but Hank is down to black and said that’s it for the remainder of production.
Nice! Why that instead of the SFT40, was it for the tint? That’d be my reasoning.
Chatted with a guy over on Reddit (Hank’s sub) and a couple of cool ideas. First, get o-rings and put them in the grooves. 3/4” ID, 15/16” OD. Creates a good barrier to cut down on the abrasiveness. You can also use heat shrink tubing (about 1.5” diameter), either alone or over the o-rings.
I’ve not tried an SFT40 yet, although some pics I’ve seen they do look a bit blue. The W2 I like in other hosts and the tint has always been very white rather than coloured if you know what I mean.
