M3-C charging

I have a Convoy M3-C with the 26800 battery extension. I notice while it’s plugged into usb for charging that there is no status indicator. The light does seem to get warm, though. Does anyone else have one of these that can confirm the existence of a charge status led?

Mine has a very hidden led which can be seem by one hole close to the USB port. But the led is very deeply placed in this hole, so it’s a little bit hard to see it.
