[M4D deal] Astrolux A02 EDC $11.99

Can I have the code please?

How much can it output with regular AAA?

May I be included in the deal please. Thank you!

dont expect much output from normal aaa, i guess something around 150-180 lumens or so…

“send me the deal” if you want to buy for $11.99

Am i doing that right?

deal sent ;)

ordered !

I received a A02 and don’t like it much. :frowning:

For one thing it is huge for the battery size. But the worst is the excessively protruding tail switch. I’ve never seen one like that. The rubber cap seems to be several millimeter too long and feels flacky. It even bends to the side if you don’t press it right. Feels very cheap.

ah really? what color did u chose? can u take some pics ?

Grey 4000K
PS: the output with a 10440 is pretty impressive, but that switch is so bad… it’s also quite hard to press. I guess i got spoiled by e-switches.

The mode spacing is odd too - w 10440. There is a big gap between low and mid. Low is closer to a moon level.

Not pushing very hard:

“send me the deal” please.

Wow your button seems to extend out a lot more than what’s shown on their picture. Which 10440 did you use? Does it have memory mode?
I placed my order few weeks but now it’s delayed, it went into pre-orders for some reason. :disappointed:

Send me the deal, please

I’ve also received the Astrolux A02, as patmurris mentioned, the rubber button really protrudes out (the switch inside is probably not that long — only the rubber portion which is quite big).

ok that looks weird, a bad switch really kills the light really :frowning: maybe they can do an updated version ?. banggoods pics didnt show this really its hard to see it sticks out so much.

It’s extremely common for mode spacing to be bad on one power source or the other with the alkaline/li-ion compatible drivers. Has ruined quite a few lights for me.

On mine, the switch is so hard to press it almost hurts and you really have to hold the light tight if you don’t wont it to slip out of your fingers…

Efest.
It looks like it has memory.

@freeme can u send feedback to astrolux about the bad switch ?

I also tried to turn it into a twisty by leaving the switch on and unscrewing the head but that does not break the current path as it does on most lights… so i’m stuck with this switch.

I’m not going to lose time with this $10 light. There is always a risk when buying a new not yet reviewed light. That happened before and i accepted the uncertainty. No big deal for me.
