I have no budget for it but can’t wait to see more about that trustfire.

Damnit, I already ordered that trustfire :person_facepalming:

That Trustfire MC1 is interesting… any reviews?

What were Nitecore thinking when they named it “NEW P12” ?

The Trustfire is similar to the Fenix E18R in terms of size, features and UI (hold for on and hold for off). A lot cheaper though.

Description of the Trustfire MC1 states:

This sounds more like beacon than strobe, IMO.

Cute little light, nonetheless.

From what I found, the Trustfire MC1 is similar to the Fenix E18R, same UI, charging system( but 2A charging!!!), battery level indicator(green 100–50, yellow 50–20, red 20–5, red flashing 5–0).
Modes:
High 1000 lm - 75 min.( Expect step down)
Med 168 lm - 139 min.
Low 15 lm - 35 hours
Strobe 1000 lm
Has mode memory!

Lowest level 15 lm kills the MC1 for me. Otherwise a nice light, allthough beacon instead of strobe would have been nice.

If it blinks once every 2 seconds, like the description says, then it is beacon, IMO.

2A charging current into a 16340 cell???

I know it’s high! I saw this on a Chinese site(after translation), but also on Amazon:

“Magnetic Tailcap and USB Charging
If you want to use other rechargable batteries, please choose IMR16340 with protection PCB and button top)

–650mAh TrustFire IMR16340 Lithium ion battery charges in-product in around 40 minutes with original cable
-Charging current for USB cable up to 2A
-Convenient charge at any computer or wall-mounted USB power source
-Flat magnetic tailcap that allows it to be secured to ferrous metal surfaces as a hands-free option”
