Maglite ML50L 46mm Glass Lens Upgrade

The Maglite ML50L takes a unusual size lens, 46mm. Several quite old posts here, unanswered, asked about this size flashlight lens. I finally found a source, listed as a replacement lens for some pocket watches apparently, per the Amazon listing. I just installed one and it fits perfectly in my ML50L 3 C battery version. I prefer glass lenses as more transparent typically and less subject to scratching. A large number of diameters, mostly 2mm thick, are offered by this seller.

Nothing on AX, even? Interesting.

When I was glassing up some lights like my LuxPros, sure, I had to goggle around a bit, but there were always some sellers with weirdo lenses. Pretty much found everything I needed.

I did not look there as wanted the lens quicker.

FYI flashlightlens.com has had AR glass ML50L windows available since around the time the light was introduced.
