Is the MDC AA 2 mode only? And what is the led and temp?
The MDC is 3 mode. Ultra low, low and high. It’s 4000k. I’m not sure which LED it has.
It depend on how old MDC is. Old model MDC has Cree XP-G2 and newer one has Luminus SST-20. It could be identified by observing led though.

It is Luminus SST-20. Newer emitter for M61, M61N etc. Here is also reference picture of leds .
