Manker E03H III Headlamp Review

The Manker E03H III is a AA-sized right-angle torch with multiple moonlight modes.

It comes with a 14500 3.7V Li-ion cell with USB-C charging. It also supports AA 1.2V Ni-MH and AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries.

Repairability has improved now that the bezels can be unscrewed with snap ring pliers. No more press fit bezels!

The output is well regulated and the runtimes were mostly good (more details in the review):

Thanks for the review. The Manker line has been one of the few decent AA headlamps until recently. Very happy to see they upgraded some things and offer a 4000K LED option on this third version as well.

I like the new design of the Manker E03H III

II had a problem of the button being detached. Mb now it’s better.
Production quality control can be worse than average, based on malfanction reports quantity. There is a suspicion that this model is higher touchy to below 0 celsius condition of keeping and usage, because of soldering quality.

The headband is comfortable to wear.

During walking it does not hold stably and the light shakes. People change it.

The beam is nice and floody with a wide hot spot.

<= 4000k for close range flooder would be better for testing.
Main competitor is Skilhunt H150, which is not on comparision photos.
More common headlight distance is for walking, what is 5 m ground point. Not 70 m away and above the ground.
And more common modes in usage than turbo for headlight are >= ~30 lm with >= ~4 h runtimes.
The beam photos closer to practical usage would be more useful.

for the kids to use while camping

<= 10 usd models are more appropriate for this
