Hello,
I don’t have any good AA flashlights but feel that everyone should have a AA light as these are very common batteries and easily aquited in emergency situations.
I like the look and slim profile of the mi7 but there are reports that it only produces 214 lumens with eneloops(which is what I have) vs the manker E11 which produces closer to 400 lumens(how much difference will eneloop pro vs regular(mine) make?). I also like the UI on the Mi7 as there is direct hi/low access, it also has voltage indicating capability.
Which do you prefer out of these two and why? Are there any other similar sized/profile lights with similar lumen specs? Also, could you guys point me to where I can find the best price for these lights, group buys included.
I’ve got Manker TO1 and Mi7… on normal batts(alkaline/nicd) TO1 definitely much brighter and on li-ion Manker still brighter but mi7 improve significantly(twice power). As for E11 i’m curious myself hence order mine last week at sponsor site (Gearbest) so if you want wait for few weeks i’ll post again and let know
imho Mi7 excellent flooder with good simple UI whereas Manker more fiddly UI but powerful.
I no doubt, I prefer the Mi7 (I have now 2 and other on the way), perhaps the E11 have a little more lumens, but I prefer the beam of the Mi7, the design of the Mi7, the lockout mode of the Mi7 and the option for know the level battery.
For the price at this moment, The Mi7 is the best cost/quality AA light.
I got the Mi7 and sanyo 840s unprotected. Maybe I’ll have to get the e11 if I don’t like the Mi7. Is there any difference mechanically between the non-clip older version and the new clip version aside from just including a clip?
I got the NW ti3 xp-g a year or so ago and while I’m not sure what color it is, I found it far too yellow. I prefer more of a white light. Hopefully the Mi7 is white, and hopefully not blue or yellow.
I’d like to add that I was using it outdoors on a farm and felt that I couldn’t see as much or as clearly.
Quite different, because of the TIR lens, it doesn’t have a defined hotspot but will reach more or less the same distance as the others. It’s very confortable to use when indoor
