What do you mean with pedal artifacts? As far as I know these are the result of a perfectly focused square emitter in a round reflector.
This has essentially the same reflector / optics setup as the Acebeam E75: four identically aligned emitters in quad pod reflector, so I am expecting the same result. But, maybe it will be different if the reflector isn’t as deep. Guess we’ll have to wait for reviews.

Thanks for your advise. E14 III is also good floody flashlight. We adopt both Carclos optics TIR lens in different batch. one is frosted, another is clear. Some buyer like frosted, some buyers like clear. It is hard to meet all requirements.
Yes, I had both batches 
… and liked both… but the LH351D is so floody even regular 10622 is fine. I think most people would prefer regular (not frosted). But the nice thing, being Carclos, one could just swap 10624 or 10622 if the head isn’t glued.
Yes. most people like clear one. in fact frosted one can make beam more floody. E14 is positioned as floody flashlight, each verions will keep the same positioning. You can try to get E14 4th version which have many different with 3rd version. The engineering is better than 3rd version. You can program eco mode each level brightness you want up or down. It is very useful in practices. Waterproof is also better than 3rd version. battery is also better. and plus these feature as you know: multi fuels. metal side switch… Important thing, 4th version bezel is not glued, you can DIY to other emitter you want.

Is the battery really 21700 or just a rewrapped 20700?
I’ve watched some recent videos and I see that the battery has 21700 label but on earlier videos 21700 batteries does not fit since the battery chamber has smaller diameter.
If the chamber diameter is still the same then only 20700 batteries can be used which sucks.

We made 1st batch U12, It is only fit for 20700 battery, and 18650 battery. when we release U12, in the market 18650 battery is so popular, 20700 is new released battery, 21700 battery is just trial samples. in that time, all factories have not made 21700 flashlights, and just few factories have made 20700 flashlight, and have also not made new charger which can support 21700 battery. and then the battery technology is develop better, 20700 battery has been developed to 21700 battery, and 21700 battery is more and more accepted by the end users. When we produce 2th batch U12. we redesign U12, so that it can be fit for 21700, 20700, 18650 battery.

By the way, U12 can be fit for 18650 battery. but please not use protected 18650 battery because it is too long. we recommend you to select button-top or flat-top unprotected high drain 18650 battery. Even if you use correct 18650 battery, you shake U12, you can head your 18650 battery can be moved inside. When you are at the outdoor, you have no more 21700 battery at your hand, you can use 18650 battery for emergency lighting. In most condition, we recommend you to install 21700 battery.
