What battery are you using, and is it fully charged?
Yes, it’s a 3500mah 10A Liitokala. I thought the same thing at first.
Update: So I fully charged both batteries and noticed for a short period fresh from the charger the light will sustain 100% output for 5 or ten seconds. It then steps down to what looks like 1% and pulsing. All other modes work fine.
After a little use, 100% does its usual half a second flash before dropping.

6V 5A driver needs more amperage than 10A. Especially when battery voltage is lower. And voltage goes low fast when battery is used on it’s upper limits.

At last! I can confirm that a Vapcell B30 20A 3000mAh 18650 finally worked. What a relief!
