Meet the Maxtoch X PRO : the new single-cell "King of Throwers" of 2021

If it sounds alike, it probably means the same. Or does it?

Here’s a quote for the Eternal Hall of Fame.
From our long-time-ago Secretary of State: mr. Josef (what’s in a name) Luns.
When asked about his hobbies, he replied: I fok horses.

EN: horse breeder
FR: eleveur de chevaux
DE: Pferdezüchter
NL: paardenfokker

Just not in that order.

Head-heavy. Nope.

Fun fact, i bought the original 2*21700 version L2K with Chibims coupon code half a year ago or so.
After using it for a few times the length annoyed me, so I decided to contact Maxtoch and ordered the shorttube. Using it together with 2*18350 cells, it served me great.

However after reading that newer Maxtoch versions support single cell, just out of curiousity I just threw in a single 21700 in the shorttube and guess what?

It just works as it should!

(Did not measure Cd’s yet, so i cannot guarantee the same output)

Oh, that's really interesting to hear. I wonder what the runtime is, and how much it can maintain the output.

Thank you for sharing! Very helpful

I recently purchased the MAXTOCH L2KD, so I ventured to the old AFB closed down.

I had a friend stand at the end of a runway, it was 1.26 miles away, it was cloudy, and no moon.

He took a magazine with him, I told him to open the magazine, face his back at me.

I focused the beam on him and he stated that it lit him up like it was daytime.

Then of course that beam woke up the sleeping security guard, and we where kindly asked to leave, so we where unable to complete testing further.

On another note , at 1pm on a beautiful sunny day, 90 degrees outside I was wondering if I could see the beam on some pine trees about 100 yards away and to my amazement, you could.

The power of this LEP light is just insane.

It is even more fun bouncing the green and yellow beam off of the clouds at night.

I just purchased the K75, it has yet to arrive, but when it does, I want to set them both up on Tripods, find a nice target a mile away, and see if the L2KD beam can be seen through the end of the K75's beam shot. I know it's not serious testing by no means, just fun .

I bought the L2KD to see the active deer runs at night, and for that nothing comes close.
