I have only two lights with metallic switches, both made by Lumintop, and both switches seem to have failed.
HL3A after around 2 years of use around the house. Switch not registering multiple clicks, basically now it’s just on-off light.
And FW4A (the one designed by BLF), switch doesn’t work at all. LED seems ok because it does flash when I insert battery.
The weird thing is that I haven’t used FW4A at all. It was just standing on the shelf for more than 1 year:)
Sellers advertise these type of stainless switches like they are some premium thing, but looks like they are not so good if the fail so easily…
i have noctigon kr4, it also has a tube inside and metal electronic switch, so far no issues, however this set up needs to be clean and undamaged, as well as tightened properly from both ends to work reliably.
