Modding of an old Ultrafire SSC-P7 (WF-1200L)

Hi

I bought about 8 years ago Ultrafire SSC-P7 (WF-1200L) and still works fine, but i wondered is it possible maybe to put some newer LED emitter like XPL HI or something into this host?

you can get a XHP50 on 2S Battery configuration in this light, but the thermal properties of the pill are likely not good
