I Had this Fenix L2P purchased back in 2005 and for the past 7 years has been working great, very reliable little light, it originally had a Luxeon I led in a very warm tint, it got moded after I purchased it in 2005 with a Luxeon III SXOH led and was very happy about it for a while, I even bought it a Nekomane 123a battery tube for it and then got “confiscated” by my wife for her purse carry.
I got reunited with it a few months back and was keeping it as a cool reminder of how much lights have advanced over the years, today I decided to put a XP-G R5 C1 Tint to see how it would perform and I am pleasantly impressed after all this years that the light can hold its own against much newer 123a lights, It pulls exactly 0.95 amp from the battery and the luxeon I reflector focuses the light in a very nice spot. Still have the 2AA battery tube in case I need extremely long runtimes. Now just have to keep it from the wife, if she sees it again it might get confiscated back to her purse LOL! 8)
On second tought I better get the light reunited with her ASAP or else she might get interested in my Eagletac D25CM Titanium light
Well here are some pics of the light with the new led
Nicely centered led, did not have to modify the reflector in any way!

Not bad for a 7 year old light eh?
