The ultra-low internal resistance of around 7 milliohms has defeated all 18650 batteries except for the 20s battery, which has similar power to the Samsung 20s battery
Excellent battery
This is awesome! I ordered 4 of these last week! I can’t wait to try them even more after seeing this!
I really don’t see much practical need for this much amperage on flashlights
Most of the time I use less than 2 amps.
I’d rather have a 18650 battery with 5000 mah capacity at 3 amp discharge, or a 21700 cell with something like 7000mah or more at 3 amps
Id rather have more runtime at 300-500 lumens , which I find far more useful than a flashlight that can do 35000 lumens for less than 2 minutes. What’s the point?
These high discharge batteries are mainly good for those stupid vaper things
Im betting these newer lower resistance cells perform much better in sub zero temps for a flashlight, than say a 3500mah 10a battery would. But your right the usage is limited for flashlights to some extent.
I love cells in their original wrap. Here we can see 2N310 02. My pre-production P30B samples are 111 2N311 01
One way to spot a fake Moli is to check if the ECC200 code is the same as the printed code.
They’re used a lot in power tool and PEV applications, where short bursts at very high power levels are common.
Yeah, my Milwaukee battery drill uses 2.4 Ah super high discharge cells iirc.
EDIT: Nope, 2.0 even.
Yeah but what’s practical about 75% of the lights we all buy — For the outrageous lumen aspect most of us are looking for, We want the cells to go with them – even if it’s just for 30 seconds
