I ordered a custom-built MTG2 light with 4 extra 7135 chips added and zener diode mod driver. Approximately $60 for the whole thing including shipping. Awesome price! I realized after placing the order that I’d forgotten to specify which UI I wanted and sent an email with my preference. Richard responded to my email less than 2 minutes later!!!

Yep, Richard is quickly becoming one of the best flashlight dealer to do business with.
I ordered a Nitecore charger from him and asked him if he could check to see if the slides didn’t stick when loading the batteries. I told him the one that I ordered from another dealer had some sticking points in the slide rails. He emailed me back and said that he silicone lubed mine before shipping it out. The one that I got from him is saa-moooth, and it reached me in two and a half days. Thanks Richard.

My charger also had some sticky points but lubed ’em up and they are good to go now…

What host did you use for the custom MTG2 light? Convoy C8 or M1 or Xintd? Are you going to power it by 2x Efest or AW 18350’s?
sesgum has a thread about it. I went with a traditional beam pattern. I'm sure it's quite bright. I'll probably mostly use mine as a tent lantern on my next trip. Last time I used a modded Xeno e03, but the battery died after nearly two weeks, so next time I want to use a light with longer battery life.
At 5.8A I suspect you can also use it as a space heater :bigsmile:

my first order EVER for flashlight products (not a factory light). was a couple weeks ago from him and it was top notch service—
and shipping was like $2. for regular speed
which was nice as some only offer a super-slow or super expensive shipping option. also there was good communication with emails etc.
I went with the Convoy M1 with 4 extra 7135 chips (12x7135 total). Driver in 4-mode configuration.
I plan to run it on 2x Kinoko IMR 18350s from Illumination Supply (I already have the cells).
