ok so this is my first order placing with .mouser.com and my order is for leds and it came up to 14.95 and the shipping charge is $75 is that what they charge ???
That can't be right. I haven't ordered from them, but I've ordered from DigiKey and their shipping rates are extremely reasonable.
something is wrong, i ordered from them before, shipping to ny was like $10, or so.
Mouser should offer a USPS option. It depends on what you order. Usually Electronic components are under the 13 ounce limit, hence they can go First class mail. $75 sounds like overnight. Digikey is usually who I order from, unless it's not in stock. With Digikey, they don't add the shipping in the normal way and the options when checking out are not as straight forward, but if you take a little time going through it, they are usually cheaper on shipping for light weight stuff.
I order from them every month, I usually go for USPS Priority Mail which is $6.99. Maybe you clicked on something?

I ordered about $25 Worth with about the same again for postage...to Europe...You must have chosen the gold plated carton option!
If you are shipping overseas express, maybe. Otherwise something is not right. Did you select the shipping method and your zip code? It is not right for sure.
Are you using Mouser USA and shipping in the USA?

i give up lol i went to the change states clicked on USA/ohio typed on my order and it adds up to $14 and shipping is now $20 ??
After you checkout there should be multiple options for shipping. When I first place my order it shows shipping to Canada as $20, but as I continue through checkout there are other options and I select one for $8.
well i did the live chat and she got the same quote on shipping ? but after 20min on hold she fixed it for me
