So just the two questions:
- How can I determine the voltage of a MT-G2 already soldered on to a MCPCB by Cutter Electronics?
- Where can i find appropriate drivers for any of the MT-G2 series?
So just the two questions:
1. I think you’d have to look at your part number on the invoice, and hope like hell its a six volt one.
2. I’m using this driver to drive my 6v mtg-2
I am far from a driver expert but from my reading on what others have found, I think, all you need is a buck driver and to make sure the supply voltage will always be above the Vf of the LED. Any more specifics than that I'll have to leave for the smart people to answer.
My testing with what seems to be a fairly typical buck driver, meant for a single LED but running multiples in series, can be seen here: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/17098?page=1#comment-368031
put AAs in series
if it lights w/ 4 fresh alkalines, you have a 6V, if it doesn’t, add more in series until it does…
