…. received mine today. Triple CREE XHP70.2 NW Purchased from Terry at HaikeLite USA :) (hesaidshesaidsales.com) I am very impressed with this offering! The quality is fantastic. Built like a tank. Tested at 12298 lumens. Moonlight is 10 lumens. I have a Meteor M43. This is so much brighter, even to the eye. I wasn’t sure another 5000 lumens would be this much brighter IT IS!!! It is a very nice NW tint. No flashy modes that I have been able to find so far. It has 2S2P battery arrangement, anyone know why they do that, I don’t? The UI is plain vanilla - press for on, hold to ramp to next modes, it has memory, even on turbo. If this had Narsil I would get rid of my Q8 and my Meteor. Considering buying the ‘great’ driver from TA for this light. Very happy with this MT03! Here are a couple of pictures:

Great, 12000 lumens is a lot of light :slight_smile: just be careful dont let it run on highest too long it bet it gets crazy hot.

It would be interesting to know if this driver has the same problem as the MT09R, because my MT03 (sure, the “old version”) never had the temperature-problem like the GroupBuy-models…

Edit: you do not have to try - Freeme just organized a GB, I already ordered it by myself.

MT03 doesnt have thermal issue and the driver is not ramping like MT09R

Mine does not have these problems - but it’s the “old” version with 3x XHP70.

I am interested in knowing what’s going on in the new XHP70.2-version…

Can’t help defending the Q8 :innocent: : not only it has Narsil, it is smaller, more lightweight, half the price, no yellow corona, and even with lower output: more throw!

OMG they both look so good. It’s as if they’re family. This is definitely the best looking black MT03 I’ve seen. :sunglasses: :beer:

wow Meteor look to small in comparison.

pity the price is out of my budget.
