The MTE H8-1 MSITC Edition is the shortened version of the MTE H8-2 MSITC Edition and provides in the revised version with XM-L 2-LED and max. 1200 lumens more powerful than its predecessor. Just as the MTE H8-1 is the MTE H8-2 a flawless Thrower or searchlight with special optics , which offers a range of 500 meters or more (manufacturer’s specification). The photograph of the MTE H8-2/1 is quite unique and resembles a theater or stage lighting.
MTE produces high quality lamps which are, due to their robustness and quality finishing for various applications: Whether for geocaching, hunting or in the emergency services and the police - the MTE H8-1 feels comfortable everywhere.
This version of the MTE H8-1 is distributed by us as MSITC Edition . In contrast to the regular user interface of the MTE H8-1, the limited MTE H8-1 MSITC Edition on three regular light modes and is thus contrary to the wishes of many users who want to completely do away with strobe and Geblinke.
Important: The MTE H8-1 is a bit picky with respect to the battery and can not be operated with any 26650 battery. However, it works perfectly with this battery .

I would love to see what the optics look like inside. Does it collect all the light that the LED emits, or does it waste the light that goes to the sides like most zoomies?
Wow, this is an old thread but I was looking at Bluzie’s beamshots and this light has got the least amount of spill that I’ve seen in an aspherical…aside from the Deft X. I’ve never seen this light before…does anyone here own one?
