I’m currently building a light for a friend, using a fet + 7135 driver. It will run on 3 Nimh D cells because I know the aforementioned friend will not take care of li-ion cells.
He wanted to know if it will still take alkaleaks after im done with it and i hadn’t thought about it because i dont really use alkalines anymore.
I thought about throwing a schottky diode in series but I dont think the extra voltage would be an issue, if memory serves the mcu is good for 5v and with the way alkalines sag under load, but i thought i’d make sure.
Thanks
