There's a new 2-3 cell driver as well as the new Efest 35A 2500mAh (untested) cell and Sony VTC4 available on the site now! A few other restock items (Noctigon, etc.) also arrived today and I'm getting them accounted for and up as we speak.
I also have 25R on the way, but they may be a week or so still. None of the suppliers have even heard of the 24R? It's also not on Samsung's website, but the 25R is. Not quite sure what's up with that.
Ahh, left side of home page - stupid me, I was look'n in the battery section . Pretty purple, hhmmmm. Well it can have tulips on it if it can beat a Sam 20R... The 24R or 25R Samsung is rated at 25A I believe.
Richard: I have to know -- what's the deal with that 5A driver? is it a Super Shocker contender or pretender? 5A ain't enough (of course for me) -- can she go higher on us?
Tom, it can go much higher.... I've had it up to 7A with 20Rs but I'm not sure how long it will last at that current. Haven't time to thoroughly abuse it yet to see how long it will hold up. I ran it for about two minutes and it felt pretty hot but it was in the open air.
My Efest 35A is just about done charging... will let you know how it does vs a freshly charged 20R in a little bit.
7A was with 3 cells, 3 XM-L2s installed in a BTU shocker. I had the driver sitting loose with access to the battery carrier. Completely bypassed the resistor going into the inductor. This seemed to put it into at least direct drive. I think that a few stacked resistors might be more reasonable.
