I hate to be that guy, but let's keep in mind piracy is generally not considered to be legal so maybe we shouldn't be discussing it here?

I'll admit I'm not sure what the thing Nitro mentioned is, but the thing Dchomak mentioned probably counts as piracy.

Note: I am not trying to start an argument on whether piracy should be illegal, I'm simply pointing out the laws.

Scaru, I guess TIVO’s are no good then. Can record 4 stations at once. Why, DirectTV DVR’s do 5. It’s called time shifting, not piracy

Sorry about that, I'll admit I'm not all that knowledgeable about this stuff. I'm pretty sure it is is considered illegal to copy music off of Youtube in that way, but IDK about your other method.
