Well, the foursevens quark miniAA mod wasn’t a “failure”… YET… but I’m definitely stuck. I got the driver loose but just can’t get the reflector and MCPCB out. Can’t tell of it has a bezel that is glued in (super tight), or if it is supposed to come out the back of the head.
I just wanted to take apart the miniAA, then I started working on my first quad build, then I had to troubleshoot that MCPCB because the LEDs weren’t lighting after reflowing, then trial and error soldering my first MCPCB to a copper pill… ARGH…
Anyway, here’s what my kitchen table looked like when I finally realized I should have just done all this at the workbench to start with…
