Hey guys just wanted to show my new extended mini mag 
It’s using a 8x7135 driver L-M-H XM-L2 led using a aluminum slug will switch to copper when I buy some

It uses a deep reflector and has a nice hot spot with great spill

Is cooling the purpose of the extension?
And is that something that you did on your new lathe (you just got a new lathe a little while ago, right?)?
Yea Iv been busy asking few people for help on it plus I owned a mini lathe before, yes it’s for better heatsinking

I don’t have a pic but I do add a brass fitting ring onto the driver that holds it into place when I screw it all into place
That’s sweet! I’ve done a quick mod (not nearly as cool or hard-driven as this) with XM-L and the deep Mini MagLED reflector…such a nice beam profile!
