My new flashlight endeavor -- Trajectory Lights

Hey all! I’ve had this in the works for quite a while now. And I’m getting close to an actual launch date. So, I guess it’s time to start announcing it to the world!

Introducing Cygnus from Trajectory Lights:

Cygnus is an aluminum 18650 light. The driver is a newly designed two-channel driver designed by @INeedMoreLumens called the Toothless driver. Channel 1 runs on FET. Channel 2 is linear with 4x7135’s. At the front is a 2 channel mcpcb designed by me that can run 3 primary LED’s and 6 secondary XQ-E’s. I will be offering a whole array of LED choices for the primaries. And a list color choices for the secondaries.

I will be posting more information and pictures on Facebook. Please follow and share.

I’m really excited to bring this to the world! I hope all of you like it as much as I do.

Why do I sense customizable body tubes and covers coming, like a lightsaber?

Looks great!

Hahahahaha!!! I do have a Star Wars themed one in mind for down the road. But it’s a subtle theme. Only a true nerd would figure it out.

Congrats on your venture, looks nice.

Lots of trit $Lots

Secondaries are a great feature. A useable homogeneous single colored beam, as in Surefire Aviator and Oveready Boss. Good call.

And a nice Linear plus FET dual channel driver by our own INeedMoreLumens.. great collaboration!

Thanks Jon

It’s been quite the adventure so far. And I haven’t even sold one yet.

Unfortunately, the slots are too shallow for trits. That was actually a thought, to make them trit slots. But it made the barrel just a little too thick. Plus, it’s 34 slots. Nobody will want to pay for that much tritium for an aluminum light. LOL

Also, unfortunately, if does give a mandala kind of pattern. The secondaries are placed along the outside edge of the mcpcb. So, it’s outside the range of the optics to do their job. It’s kind of a triangle pattern.

But it’ll light up a whole room with that color.

Lights up a room!
