My Nitecore EA4

the sale is $69.95 plus $2.60 shipping. No place to enter a discount code.. I don't want to spend that much.

you have to enter the discount code at the last step in ordering.

Thanks man!!! Came out to $59.46 with the discount code! I'm a happy camper :)

I got mine from Illumination Supply and use the coupon code EA4
That’s strange he always gets back promptly…

Bruce,
The EA4 is more of a thrower than alot of spill.

I am so tempted to buy this light…

Don't worry about it Rick. I decided to wait for more feedback on the TK75. I want to make sure the off center emitter problem the one BLF member is experiencing isn't common. I'm a picky SOB :)

BTW I ordered the Nitecore EA4 from Illumination Supply. Can't wait to get it!

Glenn, I think you will really like it. I just shined the SL3 and the EA4 at the ceiling and the EA4 had a tighter and brighter hot spot.

Well, I’ve decided to pass. My logic is this; I own a pa-40 neutral in the same led bin/tint. The Ea4 neutral is a XML t5…If it were a t6 neutral, I’d buy it already. I’m waiting for a better XML neutral tint. Hopefully the t6 is it….Besides, I own a thrunite tn30 neutral XML t5 as well. Also, I’m waiting for Eagletac’s new light….That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. (as I try my hardest not to buy the ea4)…I will however look forward to my dads response when he receives his ea4 x-mas gift.

Thanks ILIKEflashligts, for putting the throw in perspective.

The EA4 is a T6 3C

I have a G5 Maelstrom that I run with an 18650. I wonder if this light has a bit more spill than the G5 with the extra throw? I believe the G5 is around 12000 lux. Would 2000 mah Eneloop’s work well in it ? Also, won’t the cool white throw a little better than the neutral ? I basically am wondering if it would be a big enough improvement over the G5 to be worth the change.

Thanks

The EA4 destroys the PA40. Not even close.

Here’s the size differences, you can see how small it is!!

Thanks rikr. Now if I could just make one?

Rick, I can't believe how small the Nitecore is! Can't wait to get it!

Here’s beamshots of the PA40, LD40, and the Streamlight ProPoly from selfbuilt

Rick

What are the distances in your beam shots ?

Hrm, Craig from Illum. Supply checked with nitecore and they said it’s a T5. Where did you hear it’s a T6?

Rikr, those look like selfbuilt pics. Thanks for the info. I’d like to see a distance shot between the pa40, and your ea4.

They are 155 feet.
