Took the fam to a wonderful outing at the Natural Bridge Caverns outside of San Antonio/New Braunfels area yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed God’s creation. If you haven’t been there in a few years, they have opened up a new section that has many new rooms with pretty awesome drip/flowstone. Here is the Natural Bridge Caverns website.
Did I take lights? Youbetcha! SRK, ZY-T13, 501B & LD01. I tried not to be too obnoxious with them…tried to anyways…lol. Did seem to have a little cowd around as we would light that cave up! The nice young lady leading one of the tours said she was jealous of our lights (she was the only tour guide that had an LED light…looked like a 2C Mag)…think I kinda embarassed the wifey.
Had lotsa fun and I highly recommend it! I’ll try to post pics once I fix my ornery computer.
Cool, bet it was really neat having the lumens to fire it up. I got pics in Innerspace a couple years ago with my 5DMkII at 4000ISO and no flash, turned out awesome.
We did Carlsbad year before last and the lights I had then just weren’t quite up to it. Wouldn’t be the case today though, for sure!
Nice photos. I went to the Natural Bridge Caverns in Virginia.
Not as big as that one in Texas or even the other more popular
caverns in VA. Bit it was pretty awesome anyhow.
