Need new AAA driver for a LEN LENSER P3

My little LEN LENSER P3 stopped working due to driver going faulty. I have been trying to source a replacement driver for it and found the nanjg 102
placed the order and then was told it out of stock and no other seller has them instock or any other 12-13mm AAA driver and they all seem to
be out of stock at the same time for some reason. I was wonder does anyone have an alternative driver that I can use?

it will be powering a CREE XP-G2 S4 2B which is on order.

Hi Coder,

This driver might fit. I’ve not tried it, but it is in stock

Hi
Yes that’s the only place that had it in stock and abit of a price premium for a nanjg 102 driver.
But would have ordered it if they offered free delivery and the only reason I did not order it from there
is it say:

Shipping Method
Sorry, no quotes are available for this order at this time.

so was wondering do they charge delivery or not as it seen saying that for the last week since trying there website

They are a US store, and member here, so yes they do have to charge for delivery. Prices are not within their control sadly. But PM them to ask (CalvinIS), its a small package so might not be expensive.

Somewhere I got some three mode 12 mm. drivers that said Tank007 on them.
I might have said something useful in Smiling Shark SS-5039 1 x AAA size flashlight, modification notes, Now 3 x 7135 with modes, on a BLF Tiny 10 board.

how about direct drive? xpg2 can surely handle 10440 dd

That works great. Today I had to go in another room to get a light with a low mode, but usually one or two amps is perfect for a keychain light. If you use the original springs, wires and switch, it will limit the current about right. If you need run time, you might have to put in a resistor.

I read the thread and looks like a lot of work went into making your torches.

I was thing of going with the AK-007 due to its lower operating voltage and without the modes.
Let me know if there a better option.

after I read the thread from Fritz t. Cat I thought about it and I just want to run it from standard AAA or Rechargeable battery’s
for this torch and also don’t have any 10440.

after a few emails and telling them to cancel the order they seemed to have posted the driver and LED.
So got the Nanjg 102 Driver and XP-G2 S2-2B (which is now surplus and ) and a CREE XP-G2 S4 2B which I will be using

thanks for the help and finished the repair.
see some of the pictures below. also drilled out all the plastic out of the head and dill it with copper block made to the right size.
nanjg 102 and a XP-G2 S2-2B

Was there really plastic behind the LED, a plastic pill like in $3 light, or do I misunderstand? That copper pill looks good.

as the original LED was a 5mm or 3mm (did not measure it) it was held in place by plastic moulding and silicone.
made the copper pill myself from 10mm copper rod and held in place with some arctic alumina.
I just used a dremel and hollowed out the original pill as it was made of plastic as in the picture.
glued the nanjg 102 into place and them pushed the pill in and used AA to fix it and the LED.
Then soldered the wires in. there was abit of measuring to test the beam before fixing into place.

there is a lot of light now with standard AA alkaline batteries. its a flood type of beam.
Will Upload pictures when I get the change to take some.
Also will post the WARSUN Zoomable LED Flashlight which I just finished too.
