So, the entire head assembly has to come off to charge the light?
I love duel switches with proper lockouts

Yes, need to screw off the head~
Ok. Kind of negates the convenience of built-in charging.
I would personally pass on this, in favour of a light that only requires a wee rubber flap to be opened.

To each their own. I agree this is a little less convenient, but more water resistant and no risk of the rubber flap wearing out.

…not mentioning you can’t use the light while it is charging.
A 1/2 turn of the head or tail to reveal a hidden usb port would have been more convenient and still providing some water proofing if done well?

I don’t care for built in charging at all, I’d rather have a light without it. However, this is the better option for built in charging because I can’t stand the rubber flap on the outside of a light.

I liked very much the Olight’s solution :
However, i’ts not longer to unscrew the head entirely than a ring…
