NEW 117 from Lights-Box (TK35 clone)

Just received this today and was out this evening giving it a try out.
As far as what I was going to write about goes, I find that everything is more than covered by this article/review written by
JohnnyMac about the UF-F10 TK35 clone.

Mine is identical to that, with one small exeption - the PWM is really noticeable on low, med and higher settings.
In fact, it’s so bad on low you can see it flicker - out on the dark path though it’s less of a concern and it performs fine as a low-light guide.
I was pleased to avoid the dreadful strobe and SOS modes - they’re there, but only when you want them to be and that suits me fine.
Why can’t more of the “5-Mode” lights be like this? I find it a total pita to have to cycle through them every time.
The NEW-117 always starts up in Low mode, which is a bit of a drawback, but if you’re ambling along a path and only need a momentary guide light, it’s ok for that.
I wish I’d seen the lower prices of tmart - for exactly the same item I paid more; ended up being 33usd with shipping. Not a deal-breaker though; and I’m happy enough with it.

ps I forgot to include the origin of mine - Lights Box (which is Lightsmalls)
