New 18650 battery does not make contact in new UniqueFire UF-2220

Bought some UniqueFire UF-2220 lights with 18650 batteries from TMart as gifts. The blue 18650 batteries do not work in the flashlight. Other brands of batteries work fine in the flashlight.
I suspect these E01428 2200mAh batteries are a tad too short. Does anyone have a reliable fix for this problem?
Thanks.

Magnets

If the batteries are flat top, small rare earth magnets on the positive terminals. Or buy some button top batteries, Ive never heard of that brand and would be wary. If the batteries are protected, it could be that the pcb has tripped due to too high a current, in which case invest in SenyBor 2C high drain protected batteries, or good quality unprotected.

Nice light with much better heatsinking than other similar sized lights. I melted a bunch of solder onto the positive contact point on the driver to get around this problem. Just heat the driver, apply solder, let cool, use.

My batteries are Panasonics with button top, but they didn’t make contact. The batteries hit another part of the driver on the outsides.

Trustfire flames work fine.

Magnets on the negative terminals are better for two reasons. First of all if it slides to the side and contacts the body tube then it would just turn on, if it was on the positive side then it would short the battery. Also, if it is on the positive side it could short the positive terminal to the side of the battery. (-)

Hello, everyone.I want to know if this flashlight:External Battery Charger - Transformers Bumblebee Type 5600mAh Battery Charger
with 18650 battery.

Buy good protected batteries instead. I wonder if the blue ones are protected.

I took Masejoer suggestion of applying some solder to driver , because not making contact with battery, Panasonic also and now light works fine.
thanks
