I love the form factor! I’m a big fan of the IF19, and I was secretly hoping for an upgrade of it with efficient driver and a little warmer LED. This one is more of a flooder, as stated. I wonder why the regulation is to apply to the red led only? Perhaps a typo? There is also one more possible issue by the look of it: the lanyard hole may interfere with tail-standing.
Looking good, specially the USB-C port, the red LEDs (which I assume can be controlled independently) and the buck driver (but “for red light”? perhaps you meant “not for the red light”?).
OTOH, the LEDs don’t look good: perhaps it’s the camera settings or something, but I see too much green on that beamshot pic :-/
Also, I see no mention of the UI. Anduril, please? Pretty please?
I like the small form factor.
I hope the tint is not that green though and it is just the camera setting.
But I’m quite interested in it, especially it has red led.
Well, that’s a flashlight that will make a nice EDC. Small, but quite potent. However, personally I’m not the greatest fan of internal charging. But if it can’t be avoided, I prefer a magnetic coupling like the Skilhunt M150
Using a buck driver only for the red channel but not for the white one is a little weird. Can’t you share the same driver circuit for multiple outputs? I would have expected the white one to be regulated.
Nice looks
CSP2323 - nice to see high CRI LEDs, I hope You will make 4000K version available.
FET driven main LEDs… God why Maybe it is was FET+3x7135, but I assume it’s FET+1x7135 - so regulation will be bad…
UI - I would prefer Anduril 2, but at least it’s close enough in basic use
I’m glad You went with 18350, not 16340
Certainly looks interesting.
Beam tint looks great(w weerapat_k’s shots)
Looks green here. Or is it both?
Agree w lower cct request.
Regulation seems strange.
As to UI, jury’s out, but would prefer anduril.
