Over the years there has been a couple that live in our area that run a family orientated martial arts school. Over the years all my children have gained their black belts and this year my darling wife along with two other mums competed in and passed their grading for their first dan black belts of which I'm very proud.
I must be the reject in the family being the only one that has not participated in this club.
To thank these two magnificent community people, husband and wife, for their efforts, not forgetting all the other members and instructors who put in at the club, I've built a his and her twisty lights as a small appreciation of their efforts.
My stock running low on components the lights were made with what I had in hand and I must say both perform marvelously. I may be just a little biased.
We'll start with all the machined components starting with hers and then his.
In the same order as above all the components that went into each light.
Both lights feature single mode FT drivers, AR lenses and 20mm x 12mm pills. His light has a 20mm reflector which required a screw on bezel and XML-U2 led. Her light has an 18mm reflector and XPG-2 led assembled from the driver end. The battery tube has a small hump in the negative end and an oring to take up the slop when the light is of preventing battery rattle.
