My DW3AA just arrived yesterday.
This time I found the perfect configuration that I need for EDC flashlight.

  • pocket friendly (well my D2 is more friendly, but this one works also)
  • big hotspot
  • still throwy enough
  • regulated
  • and thanks to Hank to mixing colors and parts, I’m able to “design” a spiderman themed flashlight.

any concern the metal button might turn on in your pocket?

Until now, I dont have any problem with the switch at all. From my feeling, it needs to be pressed a bit harder than my D2.
But even then, both never turned accidentally on in my pocket.

I’m also using the same olight perun2 mini headband, a perfect headband for a small flashlight imo.
I got lucky with the headband from wurkkos, since they sold it withouth flashlight on aliexpress a long time ago.

Using the clip, it can retain the flashlight’s position so I dont have to adjust it everytime I use the headband.

Are these getting the same new colors (Polished Silver, Midnight Blue and Green) as the D3AA any time soon?

Still hoping we will get the SS Bronze bezels for the DW3AA sometime soon.
