The throw and runtime specs on this new offering from Fenix are pretty impressive for a 16340 light. I like Fenix and am particularly fond of the “hidden” charging port feature. OTOH, it’s pretty big for a 16340 light.

I’d be interested in any opinions or observations.

Yeah that thing is huge, about the size of a D4V2. The Acebeam TK16 w/ OSRAMs outperforms in throw, lumens, and size. So I guess it’s down to interface and USB charging.

I think I’m gonna get one. I have the original PD25 and love that thing.

The new PD25R has the same peak Candela as my older PD35 V2. 13k vs just 4k from the original PD25. Impressive.

I’ll probably grab a PD32 V2 while I’m at it. That E-switch design seems pretty excellent.
