New Guy here, How do I search this forum for a particlular flash light review NcStar 250 Lumen Tac Light

I am looking at purchasing a NcStar 250 Lumen Tac Light cr123 powered. Please tell me how to search this forum? Link to this light review appreciated! I will ask a moderator to delete this post once I get the info I am looking for!

Thank You

I could really use some info on some 1 inch diameter AA powered lights that are no larger than 5.5 inches so if you all know of any, please post em up!

SK68

Search company websites of Thrunite, Fenix, Nitecore, and Streamlight to name a few

Oh by the way, Welcome to the Budget Light Forum! (insert lewd Milla Jovovich picture here)

That NcStar 250 Lumen flashlight is way overpriced and looks like the company caters to paintball/airsoft people.

Here’s a couple of forum links for you to check out since you want AA lights.

Thanks Bugsy but that SK 68 says the dimensions are 22mm OD, I need a 25mm OD

Thank You, I appreciate the info. Is there a search feature here that I am not seeing? I would really like a good 1 inch or 25mm OD AA powered light that is under 6 inches long, and in the 180-250 Lumens range. These specs are usually overlooked or not mentioned in the reviews.

He wants cr123

Edit: oh he did say AA

Any budget range? The EA11 is great at least for me

What is wrong with the quote function?

I prefer AA Powered and it must be 1 inch OD to fit my mount, as all my other flash lights are AA Powered, but everything I see for tactical use seems to use the CR123A battery. I would really like to find a review on the NcStar 250 Lumen even though it is CR123A powered, as it has the proper length and OD, and I like the fact that the Dim/High/Strobe feature are selected by turning the end of the flashlight bezel, which enables me to leave it on the preferred setting and have a one button operation. I am unable to find the search function on this forum?

When you use an Olight WM20 weapon mount you can adjust the standard diameter of 25mm to fit a bigger or a smaller light.
Why not wrapping a light like a SK 68 in a piece of rubber, for example from an inner (bicycle)tyre.
When you have an eye for detail and a bit of skill (no sloppy cutting) it can look quite profesSional.

I do not know of a AA powered flashlight that is 25mm, because of the only 14mm thick battery they are usually in the range 18-22mm. Just the Romisen RC-G2 comes to mind as being close, with a wide 27.5mm head, narrow battery tube and 108mm length, but it is not high quality and hardly available because it is an old model with an outdated led. It is still for sale on Amazon, and probably a few places more.

Welcome to BLF

Am I being slow or is there really no search feature here?

The Olight WM20 looks similar to what I have ordered for a mount, I would prefer not to use a rubber shim, but it would allow me to use either my Bushnell TRKR 140L or 250L lights that I already have. I do like both of those lights except the tailcap push button is a tad stiff for this particular use.

Thanks for having me everybody! Its been years since I bought new flash lights, I signed up here recently and have since bought 3 flashlights I am very happy with.

Coleman CT70, Bushnell TRKR 140L, Bushnell TRKR 250L

The TRKR 140L has already been put to use. I can measure my TRKR lights, I think it was 22mm OD.

Try “Google Custom Search” in the upper lefthand corner, just above “Main Menu”.

I did that, but its a google search, not a forum search.

I just went out to the toolbox and measure my TRKR 140L and TRKR 250L and depending on where I measure it varies from 23 to 24mm, gentlemen I think I may already own the light I was seeking! I would think a 1 inch mount (25.4mm) would squeeze down to 24mm.

There is a pretty effective Google search box above the “Main Menu”. However it appears to be hidden by most ad blockers.

EDIT: I see you already found it. It’s not just a general Google search, it’s specifically customized to return results only for this site, and it’s actually extremely relevant.

Thank You

Just did that search, it just brought me back to this post!
