This vendor is selling a few HID flashlights. There doesn't appear to be any make or model info. I'm guessing they are clones. I get the impression they probably all have the same type of internals (battery, ballast, and bulb wise). I've never owned a HID flashlight. Anyone know anything about these particular models? Maybe what they look like they are clones of?
They all seem similar. Two head sized 8cm and 7cm. Two different body lengths.
They are all models and pictures that you see on ali-express. This is a seller who has feedback from all kinds of cheap stuff. I saw there posting last night and they were selling for ridiculously low prices. I would be very weary of buying from them. I have seen these same lights a few times sell for low prices and each time it turns out bad for the people who buy them. They end up with their money back so I guess if you want to take a chance. But my guess is that they still manage to make off with some money from paypal.
Take a look at the positives you will see that the only lights that have feedback received the feedback right after they ordered. No possible way they could have gotten them in time to actually leave feedback. Sounds like a scam to me.
But like I said you will probably get your money back.
If you are interested in buying one from me I will sell you one cheap. I know that probably makes my comment above sound like I’m trying to talk you out of buying from them to buy from me but I am sincere. Each time I have seen these lights sell cheap it’s been a scam with the same kind of feedback.
I already pulled the trigger last night on a 75w version. Let's see how if falls out.

+1 this is a regular thing on ebay now, both for HID’s and even some standard lights. We’ve seen these seller’s do this multiple times now.

Dont most (if not all) of these have absolutely horrible beam patterns?
They are different but they make up for it in lumens. The one I had (just sold it) is a very powerful light. You can focus them too but it takes a bit of getting used to. I actually like the light but it’s huge. I have seen worse beam patterns on quite a few lights. At least you don’t get rings with them. It’s just a less than perfect hot spot but when you are shining it a couple hundred yards away it hardly matters. I’m glad I had one to play around with. Someday I might step up and get one of those FF4’s or whatever they are called. Something that isn’t huge and takes lion batteries would be cool.
