What I see here:
Tailstand
Good design for the side switch: it seems to be protected from inadvertent inactivation, AND much easier to locate in the dark due to tactile clues. Raised position, and wide notch on the ring on the body just before the switch.
Charge indicators and mode indicators can be seen directly, next to the switch.
Form factor is streamlined, Nitecore has done away with the “embellishments” of the MH12 SE, and gone back to simpler lines, à la Fenix.
Waiting for reviews to see if this UHi LED is actually unique or whether it’s just a renamed common Chinese LED.
Could be good for folks who want tail clickies to turn on/off, novel output and battery level LED indicators, wonder if they stay on while light is off and what the current draw is like…?
Personally, I’d rather do without the tail switch. I’m quite sure that Nitecore will follow with a MH10 Pro, same light without the tail, as they’ve done with other MH12 models.
