I know that $66 is a bit pricey for us budget guys, but if this one has the quality of the S-mini it should be a very nice light for the bucks. Lots of folks here (myself included) have had good-and fast-ordering experiencing, at least here in the USA.
I visited the link and asked myself a question; "Based on the specs and cost would I be the slightest bit interested if it wasn't from Shining Beam?" I came to the conclusion; "Absolutely no way."
Yup, the second flashlight from SB. When S-mini was released (back in March if I'm not wrong), Brian was already working on it. I'm glad it's over. Simple body I'd say, but the most important thing is inside.
I like the simple body, and it looks like it has good heat sinking fins and a deep reflector. I wonder if the 720L is real; if so, should be a good torch considering it is only driven at 2.1A
You can customize a very nice L2T or new colored L2P with your choice of emitter and stainless (or strike) bezel for just a bit less.
There is a lack of standout features to justify the price, IMO.
If it was similar in pricing to the S-mini or P-rocket, I believe it would sell better. I'm not sure Shiningbeam has a brand presence yet that motivates buyers to have the 'newest thing' from their line-up.
and bryan are awesome. great quality, great customer service, great shipping times... its just that more performance is available for less dollars elsewhere.
Yes, S-Mini was overpriced, but fully regulated. If this one has the same regulation, it will be a very nice light. (and again, a bit overpriced, but still)
