Hello all,
Im starting this because i have $110 burning a whole in my Paypal account and cant pull the trigger on a new light, because i’m torn between some and wondering if i’m missing out on something i’m not considering.
Sorry, this is probably a ridiculous topic to start, but… I have recently lightened my arsenal by selling a couple lights. I have been trying to narrow my collection to lights I like (at the moment) and find useful. I feel that I have my EDC rotation covered (maybe not though :person_facepalming: ) but everything else is open for debate.
Here are the lights I have - I really like them all:
What do you all suggest? what is everyone liking a lot right now? What are some lights you have bought recently that you really like, or cant believe you waited to buy? And why (tint, cct, throw, machining, form & function, etc?).
Give me your thoughts please! This could be a cool thread, if people care to share
I have these, and I absolutely am excited about all of them:
Emisar D4v2 – W2 vn. I can't believe I waited to buy it.
FW3a – 3 x W2.1 vn. I can't believe I waited to buy it.
Lumintop FW21 Pro – xhp50.2 vn. I can't believe I waited to buy it.
Emisar D18, 18 x W2 vn. I can't believe I waited to buy it.
And Noctigon KR1 sbt90.2 vn. I can't believe I waited to buy it. Beam performance and beam profile per size ratio is what I look for, and this light has oodles of it.
I delayed getting into this class of lights, due to focusing on huge, massive lights.
I think you would love the FW21 X9L sbt 90.2 and the Emisar D18. Based on beam performance and beam profile that you may not have in your collection.
Thank you! That’s a great sounding line up you have and I have been eyeing most of those, I wish most I could swing getting vinhs d18 with W2, must be AMAZING! I do have the x9L and really like it. The D18 is high on my list, I appreciate the recommendation!
How do you compare the kr1vn sbt90 to the x9L? Since I have the x9L, is the kr1vn sbt90 worth grabbing? I’m really on the fence w that one.
Also I’ve been eyeing the amutorch xt45 with sbt90.2
ArtieT59, I would suggest you consider replacing Sofirn SP33 with Sofirn SC31 Pro.
For the sum of around US$35 to buy the former, you can spend in on the latter, together with a 18350 tube and a 18350 cell.
I have both of these two and I have found the SP33 rather “normal”, but the SC31 Pro more “interesting”, because I can replace its 18650 tube with a 18350 tube in with a colour different from the (black) head.
