about 3 months ago I became interested in Flashlights again after always been interested as a schoolboy many many yrs ago
spent ages looking at the various forums and facebook sites
and finally decided my first buy would be an all rounder Nitecore SR-7GT with RGB Light colours for my light painting with my other interest Photography
Quicky reading more and more forums and deciding my nightcore as much as I like it needed the urge for more power so after more research bought a UTorch UT02 Which for the size and power must be the bargain of the century basically doubling the throw of my Nitecore
the yearning for even more power saw me order the Giga Thrower (still waiting)
and last week decided that the Astrolux mf-02 looks like excellent value for money so ordered one from China and could not believe it arrived in 5 days so last night took them out for a couple of snaps of the beams
the beam on the Astrolux is light years ahead of anything i have ever owned…. so cant wait for the Gigathrower to come in a couple of months
my question I seem to be addicted to these flashlights is there any cure
This time last year, I had just bought my first ‘real’ flashlight, an Olight SR52UT, after I’d previously only owned two cheap ebay lights.
Since then, I’ve ordered around 25 more - some were bought as presents and a couple were requests from other people who had asked for recommendations, but mostly they end up in my collection. After each light I tell myself it’s going to be the last, but there is always some new interesting news on the horizon…
