Firstly - thanks to everyone here putting up good info on chargers and helping me to spend my money
The Littokala chargers seem to get good reports and, when browing for one to supplement my current chargers, I came across the Lii-500 model on Aliexpress. As far as I can tell this is a new and interesting 4 cell version of their existing chargers and I’ve put one on order. I’ll report back on whether it seems any good once it arrives (hopefully).

Check carefully — the ones we’ve talked about here are spelled “Liito …” not “Litto…”
EDIT — the actual sale page has it spelled right: 2015 Liitokala Lii-500

Im looking to buy a charger, if its any good and lower price than the opus it stays in my list.
That name sure sounds Finnish to me.
If it’s sold by someone named Jari Wong, with offices in Guangdong and Helsinki, we’ll know globalization is complete.

Hey, it’s a battery charger and a toaster oven?
and it charges batteries that haven’t been invented yet!
Yeah, better wait for a proper review of this one. Sellers don’t know what they’re selling.

this looks like its a good start has a lot going for it all except a review
and i will wait
i want to love my nitecore i4 but its slow
otherwise its great charges to 4.17v perfect every time
the lii 500 looks great and looks like a killer
and i think the USB part means it CAN output 5v EVEN with just the batteries like a power bank
BTW whats the difference between the lii 400 and lii 500 and whats with the ” Liitokala website “:http://liito-kala.com/

The 400 looks to be a simpler model with independent display areas for each bay and possibly without the IR measurement facility. Mind you the description I read could have been incomplete and not telling the full story (shock, horror).

Well Jari is a finnish name and liitokala is actual finnish meaning a flying fish. So there is something fishy going on.
