SFT-25R 6500K and 5700K CRI90 is available

Which color/flux bin for 6500 K 90 CRI?
This is missing in item description
Please make sure to include this information for upcoming product releases since this is important information regarding LEDs.
I will update it.
Is there a chance for SFT-70 gen 2 in 5000K (maybe H1 DD) or anything below 6500K is still unavailable?
Isn’t sft70 available in 3000k?
That’s gen 1, 3000K, high CRI which means low efficiency.
they’re back again, now it’s 5000k + 5700K. warmer is on green side of BBL
And the 5700K are gone.
Thanks for the heads up, I took a bunch of 5700K and a couple of 5000K, but I’m not hopeful about their tint. Such a shame that it’s not a neutral color bin.
If you mean the 5700K 90 CRI SFT-25R from Kaidomain which was available some weeks ago, the tint of my sample was perfect, duv around 0.0002 or so
Test will follow
90CRI is CA tint bin which means it should be around BBL.
How do you think the larger 5050 base in SFT-25R affects the performance?
Edit: or rather how much it may improve it?
No I mean 5000K (DB quadrant which is above the BBL)
I’ve heard that the 5050 version has lower Vf, which translates to the ability to sustain high output at lower battery voltages. The large footprint also makes centering much easier in lights C8-sized and above.
It would be also good to know if due to better heat dissipation it can take higher amperes?
Probably, but I would not expect a drastic difference. The 4040 CULNM1 is only a marginal upgrade over the 3030 CSLNM1.
I tested a 5050 round-die emitter some months ago (had no test written since I could not verify the type of LED). Looks very similar, according to the manufacturer of the light I took this LED out it was a SFT-25R 5050.
The difference was there, but not drastic. The 5050 LED (if it was an SFT-25R) achieved about 12% higher luminous flux and about 2.5 A higher maximum current. That’s also roughly the difference I would expect by switching from the 3535 to the 5050 package.
As we know from bin code, 5000K is green and 5700K is pink lol. It will stay in my T3 TiCu for now, but the other one will probably be never used anymore.
CA should be about neutral, not pink.
Yes true, but I wanted to compare apples to oranges. Versus 519A 5700K DD it looks green lol but it’s just neutral. HDS EDC Rotary as comparison to T3 TiCu with H17Fx
New SFT-70X-WE with CCT 4000K
70 CRI and lower max current though
