same seller but now comes in packaging so with battery
Mine arrived today, very nice and cute little light with a pretty impressive amount of light on high
Fed it from my bench supply and did some current measurements.
3V | mA |
Low | 40 |
Med | 190 |
High | 900 |
4.2V | mA |
Low | 30 |
Med | 220 |
High | 1500 |
Thanks for the report fonzeka. Those are great numbers @4.2V. I wish mine would hurry up and get here. Whats the tint like for that XML?
It's pretty nice, it looks more neutral than my other cool white xm-l's but with more green in it.
Can take some pictures tomorrow.
Question: are you guys sure it's safe to use a 16340? I checked Olight's website, It's not listed in the specifications. BTW, I just ordered one :)
Yup, the same thing has reported the other guy from CPF when I asked him about using li-ion in I2. LO and MED are quite the same, but HI is much brighter. Well, ITP A series weren't compatible with li-ion officially either (if I remember well), but worked w/o any problems. Perhaps Olight used the same driver, who knows.
The only thing I want to know if with li-ion is current regulated or not. Can someone make a few tests, please?
Here's graphs for ITP A1. As you can see, it's regulated for both types:
But then u lose the cool bolt on clip
