New product information:Sofirn SR12 ( SFT-25R 6000K-6500K)

I received a sample flashlight from Sofirn, model SR12. Here are the datasheet and some images

This is a preliminary test, and it’s just a sample, so it may not be identical to the final product for sale. If you need me to conduct further tests, please feel free to comment.

Would you know if the output is regulated by the recently-nice Sofirn buck driver that is used in e.g. HS21? Also, can the tube be replaced with a regular thread 18350 tubes by Sofirn or Wurkkos? And the last question: does it have springs at both ends (would it accept flat-top batteries)?

3 Thanks

1:YES,I asked the producer and they told me that it uses a buck driver.

2: I’m not sure if all of them can be used. If one particular thread 18350 tubes works, it doesn’t necessarily mean that all others will. What I can tell you is that the lamp is threaded to connect with the battery tubes.
I can provide the thread pitch.

3:Both ends have springs.

As this is not the final retail product, it is provided for reference only. Thank you.

That looks like a great flashlight. Not the best CCT and CRI, but probably fairly efficient, especially with a switching driver. Looking forward to the official release!

2 Thanks

Add tailswitch and independent action between the switches. Or maybe its too much… ( i understand it requires another coding to the mcu and added length, even tailcap/switch construction)

Are they using the same driver as SP35?

2 Thanks

Moonlight gets stuck on in lockout, hopefully that’s fixed before they’re for sale.

How many amps is the driver delivering the LED on turbo?

I’m pretty sure Wurkkos will release a version with tailswitch…it will be a very good upgrade for my TD05.
